The Forgotten Foundation currently provides electricity to 15 families living on the property rented by Forgotten. This project was implemented back in August of 2009, and at the time there were only 15 families living at Forgotten. Currently there are about 34 families and therefore, many of the families live without electricity. Forgotten plans to expand this project to provide electricity to all of the families as we move forward into the future. Providing the families with electricity makes it much more enjoyable for them to visit with each other into the nighttime. It also creates a safer environment by providing the children with access to light to study under instead of using candles, which in the past have led to fires.
